Terms & Conditions

The rules that help keep Spride fair, safe, and dependable for everyone.

These terms govern your use of Spride Networking's website, mobile application, and services. Please read them carefully before using Spride.

Effective 21 August 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using Spride, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our applicable policies. If you do not agree, do not use the services. Additional terms may apply to a particular product, promotion, subscription, or partner service and will be presented before you use it.

In these terms, “Spride”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Spride Networking. “You” means any person or organisation accessing or using our services.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you use Spride for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it. Age or licence requirements may apply to particular services.

Account details must be accurate and current. You are responsible for keeping your credentials and verification codes secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Our services

Spride is a mobility ecosystem that may provide access to taxi rides, premium services, public transport information, scooters, professional and fleet services, delivery or logistics, safety tools, and financial product information.

Products and features vary by location, device, eligibility, and availability. A feature described on the website may be planned, limited, or not yet active in your area. The app or booking flow will show what is currently available to you.

4. Rides, bookings and payments

  • Provide accurate pickup, destination, passenger, and contact information.
  • Estimates are not guaranteed. Final fares may reflect distance, time, demand, waiting time, tolls, taxes, fees, route changes, and other disclosed factors.
  • Cancellation, waiting, cleaning, damage, or no-show fees may apply when disclosed in the app or booking flow.
  • Payments are processed through approved payment providers. You authorise the applicable charge and must use a valid payment method you are permitted to use.
  • Drivers and transport providers may be independent service providers. Their status and responsibilities are determined by applicable agreements and law.

5. Safety and location features

Safety tools may include user-activated trip monitoring, alerts, location sharing, or device-dependent audio or video features. You are responsible for enabling and using them lawfully, including obtaining any required consent for recording or sharing another person's information.

Spride Police and related safety features do not guarantee prevention, rescue, police contact, or emergency response. Availability may depend on your device, network, permissions, and local law. In an emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service directly.

6. Financial services

Finance Portfolio and Spride Loan content is general information unless expressly stated otherwise. It is not a promise of approval, a guaranteed rate, or financial advice. Eligibility, documents, affordability checks, pricing, repayment terms, and regulatory disclosures will be provided for each offered product.

A separate regulated provider may supply a financial product. You should review its terms before applying and seek independent advice where appropriate.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use Spride for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive activity;
  • harass, threaten, discriminate against, or endanger another person;
  • damage property or interfere with a driver, vehicle, scooter, or service;
  • misuse promotions, payment methods, accounts, ratings, or support channels;
  • access, copy, scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt, or test our systems without written permission; or
  • upload malicious code or infringe another person's rights or privacy.

8. Content and intellectual property

Spride's brand, software, designs, text, graphics, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Spride and protected by law. We give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the services for their intended purpose.

If you submit reviews, feedback, or other content, you retain any rights you hold but give us permission to host, use, reproduce, and display it to operate, improve, and promote Spride. You confirm that you have the right to submit that content.

9. Third-party services

Spride may link to or rely on app stores, maps, payment processors, transport operators, lenders, communications providers, or other third parties. Their terms and privacy practices may apply. We are not responsible for a third party's service except to the extent required by law.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep Spride available, but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or universally available service. We may maintain, improve, restrict, suspend, or discontinue a feature and may set service areas, usage limits, or eligibility requirements. We will provide notice when reasonably practicable.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spride is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not exclude any warranty, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for loss caused by matters reasonably beyond our control.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that applicable law does not allow us to limit.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Spride at any time. We may restrict or suspend access where we reasonably believe these terms were breached, safety or security is at risk, payment is overdue, or the law requires it. Where appropriate, we will explain the action and offer a way to contact support.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Eswatini, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. If it cannot be resolved, disputes may be brought before the courts with jurisdiction in Eswatini unless applicable law requires otherwise.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services, technology, or legal obligations change. The effective date above shows the latest revision. We will give appropriate notice of material changes. Continued use after the updated terms take effect means you accept them, where permitted by law.
